The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. However, the room let the experience down — the bed sheet was old and had iron burn marks, and the shower was dirty and electric kettle not well maintained. Overall, a mixed stay with great service and food, but improvements are needed in room cleanliness.

Central City location 10 minutes walk from the train station and rental cars was really convenient. All easy to local restaurants and pubs. Courteous and helpful staff and nice rooms.

The hotel is in a good, walkable location. Breakfast was good. The one thing I REALLY didn’t like is that there was no electric hot water kettle with complimentary instant coffee and tea available in the room. This is the only hotel we encountered during our entire stay in Scotland that did not have this available. They did have a machine in the lobby where you had to pay to get coffee or tea.
