The General Palmer Hotel
We stayed in a larger room in a separate building. Very nice room with a view of the hillside. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, updated decor. Only downside was no elevator and scary outdoor stairs to access the second floor.

Holiday Inn Express Durango Downtown-Animas River by IHG
Room was nice and clean. Had an odor in the bathroom that wouldn't go away but not a big deal. Door lock battery was low and kept clicking throughout the entire stay. Didn't realize it until it died the last morning. The breakfast was great and the food was hot. Parking was limited due to construction ...
