Great family trip

Amazing property with incredible views. We were able to watch turkey and deer every day while at the dining table. Very neat, beautifully decorated condo with plenty of room for the kids and made for an amazing stay. Also not too far to drive into Durango or other nearby locations to get groceries or meals. Had a great family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great, well provisioned condo in beautifully situated complex with indoor/outdoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, golf course, breakfast and dinner restaurants about 20 min north of Durango, surrounded by mountains. The only challenge it that you have to climb quite a few steps with luggage to get to the condo.

Needs more attention

Overall the place was clean. Our only issue which got resolved was the bedding in the main room. The sheets were dirty as well as the comforter. They brought us clean sheets and a new comforter. We had to change the bedding due to no housekeeper in the evening. no biggie. They gave us a 10% credit which was nice.

Perfect location to Purgatory & the Tamarron property & amenities great! On arrival unit looked clean but kitchen, dishes, bedding, washing machine, master tub area were not clean. Washing machine closet not as pictured in photos. Management great & gave me a credit for all the cleaning I had to do. Needs a deep clean…even though the decor is super cute, I recommend choosing another rental in Tamarron.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 2 nights. It was clean and cute, but I disappointed with a few things. First, it's listed as 2 bedrooms, but it's really only 1 bedroom and a loft. Other than the master, all the other beds were in one location, up in an open loft. They also list as having a king bed upstairs, but if you want to utilize the king, you have to unfold the trundle and move furniture around to use it.The two things that bothered me most, and reasons i took off stars, were that the unit is connected to another unit, which was never stated in the description, and as I was looking around for rooms, I opened a door that lead straight into the 2nd unit. I panicked and closed the door (this was at 9 pm!) and of course the poor neighbors were horrified. Apparently they were already in bed and heard us open the door. They eventually knocked on our door to see what was going on. Thankfully they were kind and we exchanged names and a handshake, but both of us were horrified that there was no signage on the door or anything indicating this was off limits.The other main issue was the washing machine. It was incredibly musty and filled with mold. I didn't want to wash my clothes in it, but even if you don't wash your clothes, they're cleaely using that washer to wash the linens. That's disgusting, in my opinion.All in all it was a nice stay. They had everything we needed, but having some sort of drinking water source would have been nice (water bottles, britta, something!) They advertise coffee, but they only had decaf.They did have Aveda products, which is nice, but the master bathroom shower/bath combo was a bit tricky to access since you needed to climb over a very large and thick wall to get into the tub.I'm not sure I would discourage anyone from staying here, but with the amount of money we paid, I would suggest looking around to other places first.
