Great place!

The house was great! Access to the ski hill was easy and quick. The kitchen is well stocked. The mgmt company was very responsive and addressed any issues we had in a timely manner. We would definitely rent agajin!

Our stay was great. We had 4 households staying together for a family vacation. Alpenglow fit our needs great! The kitchen is well furnished and the host was great with questions!! Also - the check out process was a dream. So much easier than so places we have stayed. We did pay the extra resort fee to access the pool and fitness center since we had several kids with us, and it worked out great. We went to the area without a huge list of plans so the location worked well for us to explore Durango one day, Mesa Verde one day, Ouray (highly recommend) one day and then the train to Silverton too. We also did family pictures with Haylee Fleck at Haviland Lake - check her out if you need family pictures - she was the sweetest. Overall we had a great stay and this location fit the bill for our crew of 14 perfectly!

Great place for our family vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. The layout worked well for us providing enough space for all to gather as well as separate spaces when the kids and adults wanted it. The property was well stocked with everything we needed. A couple of maintenance issues were promptly taken care of. Our only suggestion would be to get sharper kitchen knives!

Amazing House for Multiple Families

The house has lots of rooms and very comfy beds. Each room has its own bathroom providing privacy for individual families. The teenagers loved the upper living/bunk room. The patios provided extra sitting space. We skied and recommend taking a right from the house and walk up the hill and then ski down. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of skiing. We enjoyed staying here with our friends and families

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. We visited Silverton for the July 4th parade and the children loved it. We went on hikes in the mountains and enjoyed the Purgatory resort activities.The property description was accurate regarding location, layout and amenities. The children liked the hot tub a lot.The carpet was dirty and heavily soiled. It needed cleaning.The sofas are cream colored as shown in the picture and also needed cleaning.The bar sat six but the table only sat 4 people so not set up to feed the maximum number of guests advertixed.

Great home for our family’s annual ski trip to Purgatory Ski Resort.

We love having room for all our family to stay together and have the convince of ski in ski out location!! We will book this home again.

We enjoyed our stay in Purgatory and the home was just as the pictures looked. There was plenty of space for our mini reunion and wedding weekend. Would stay again!

Honeymoon Revisited - 50th Anniversary w/ kids and grandkids

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: TWO THUMBS UP! ALMOST PERFECT! We (fourteen in total) didn't realize until arriving that the Summer activities at the resort didn't begin until one week later than our stay. We adjusted by taking a tour of the OLD HUNDRED MINE tour in Silverton. SO SO FUN! One day trip to Pagosa Hot Springs and another day shopping in Durango with the grandkids taking in the Discovery Science Museum @ The Powerhouse. We were also surprised with Anniversary Dinner @ 636 MAIN AVE coordinated by our kids. Food was excellent as was the hospitality. Back at the rental, we used both the front deck for grilling and the back deck for the hot-tub and played dice games. Before heading home, our kids surprised us yet again with a golden hour photo session by area photographer, Haylee Mae Photography. We definitely aren't the Kardashian's, but we loved our session with Haylee. Her personality more than made up for some annoying mosquitos who thought they had been invited too. The property was great. Just be prepared for this multi-level property having multi-level stairs. You will get your steps in for sure. All in All our visit was a great experience with the family we love and the property customer service was courteous and helpful. YES, we would definitely consider another stay in the future.

The house is beautiful and the skiiers in our party loved how close we were to the lifts. The house was an easy walk to a beautiful hillside with lots of snow for the kids to play and to the Purgatory shuttle for quick rides up to the ski village. Each family had plenty of room and enjoyed having our own bathrooms. The kids loved the bunk bed room and space to play. We cooked big family dinners in the kitchen each night which was well stocked and spacious. We loved the gorgeous views from the porch and windows. Overall we had a great time!

Hog JAM 2023!

A group of 15 of us had a fabulous time exploring southern Colorado using this condo as our home base. It was beautiful, cozy and very well equipped. Exchanging texts with the property manager was so simple to get updated info. Thanks for making it so easy.
