We had an excellent stay, and the unit couldn't have been nicer. The property is in a perfect location - easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Ave. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend this listing!

We loved everything about our stay here! Exactly like the pictures with everything you need and even better in person. The location is perfection! Super walkable to everything downtown and near several grocery shops too. Only communication issue was the instructions in the automated messaging don’t exactly match the info in the guest handbook which had more general info for all their units- the auto messages seemed more accurate/applicable. Also, if it’s important to you, note they have cable on the tv but no streaming options. If we ever get the chance to come back, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your wonderful space with us!

Great condo

We loved the easy access to everything in town from this condo. All the downtown shops and restaurants were an easy walk or bike ride, and there were many trail systems close, too. We would stay again.

Great location

Located just off Main St walking distance to restaurants and bars. It was great to have assigned parking since it's a busy area. Clean and comfortable also. About 30 minutes to the slopes. I would definitely stay again!!

Perfect place!

Loved the location! Literally just steps to everything you could need. Was surprised to see it has a full size stove/oven. Loved hearing the train whistle blow and can see the train as it passes. Management is on top of things. They send out emails to make sure your stay is perfect! Will definitely recommend and plan to return!

Nice little apartment in Durango

Cute apartment. Fine for two people. Had everything we needed. Nicely located in downtown with restaurants, bars, shops, rail station right there. Nice to be able to walk out the door and be in the midst of the downtown scene. As pictured.

Shower faucet leaked, shower head was very low and I had to bend down to wash my head, front door was squeaky and hard to close. All my issues were very minimal but all in all a very nice place to stay. Might have to book it next year.

Mixed Experience

The location was fantastic - walk to the Durango train and Ernie's nearby had great food and music. My main complaint is from the tenant above the apartment who played base music from 9pm-2am on Fridays and Saturdays. I know this is not the fault of the owner but I was renting this place to sleep and, unfortunately, that wasn't possible 2 out of 3 nights.

Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect place to stay for 2 people, a half block from historic downtown Durango. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. Parking is convenient right across the street from the condo. It's in an old building so not perfect but we would definitely stay here again. Also about 6 blocks from the Durango/Silverton train station. Highly recommend doing the half-day train ride. Also, the check-in instructions weren't super clear. The condo entrance is on 10th street under the smaller awning to the right of the main awning. Parking spot is across the street from the condo on the corner near the train tracks.

We had went during a slower week in the summer, but that had only made the experience much better. This location faces the street and has very tall windows. During the summer heat you can imagine how warm the room can heat up with the windows open the entire team - to combat the heat we had to close the curtains during the day otherwise the (multiple) fans in the room could not keep up in cooling it down. We did notice excessive dust buildup, as also noticed by our sneezing, on the fans themselves showing how much they get used; hoping the owner takes notice and starts cleaning the fans and filters more often. Great location and would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the apartment was clean when we first arrived for a week-long stay. We discovered soon into our visit that the apartment is most suitable for a short-term stay of a couple of days at most. It is too small and expensive for longer-term stays given the available amenities as we describe below, especially compared to what we have been paying in other locations in the Southwest (Tucson, Sedona, Santa Fe, Taos).The apartment is not part of the Jarvis Apartments and has a separate exterior entrance; this was not made clear when we checked in, and we only found the entrance because one of us looked around.Suggested improvements:1) Add streaming services (or capacity to stream), and not just have cable TV available.2) Washer dryer is inconveniently located and is not free; laundry should be free given the rental price3) No dishwasher or garbage disposal4) Dishcloths are not as handy as sponges for washing dishes; a new sponge for each guest would be preferred5) Only one trash bag was provided for kitchen trash canGeneral challenges: No fresh air! No windows that we could open.Cooling was not sufficient to keep place cool — temp never got below 75 degrees.Curtains are damaged and hard to open/close, which made it hard to block streetlight right outside window!Fan in bathroom is loud and very much in need of cleaning. This, plus no bathroom window, meant the bathroom remained hot and steamy.We reported a dripping faucet in bathroom tub reported the first day we arrived. We received an immediate response that someone would stop by the next day, but the repair never happened, nor did we hear back about status of our request. Apartment is across the street from a late-night bar, and throbbing bass until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday nights kept us awake. We awoke Sunday morning to find a drunk passed out on our front step (s

Great value in Durango

Perfect location. Great value for 2 adults (couch could be used for young child also). Clean, lots of linens. No dishwasher but washer and dryer available (but used by others at the adjoining condos and coin operated). Easy walking distance in downtown Durango.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the rental was very good for our visit in Durango. We enjoy the downtown area and it also worked well for visiting family in the area. Just a couple of issues, including the party noise from across the street on Friday and Saturday nights. I read about it earlier but thought in November it wouldn't be an issue, but it is. Just the two nights, the rest of the time ok. The drapes on the street windows need work. There is a street light right by them and they pulled together inadequately to shield that light. Two door keys instead of one and salt and pepper shakers filled would have helped to. But overall it was a good week.

This place and location is great. Very convenient to walk to shops & restaurants. However, the bar across the road has live music on Friday & Saturday nights till around midnight which is quite loud but it wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again!!
