Enjoy the natural beauty and peaceful escape of a private 1400 sq. ft. Air conditioned Ranch apartment overlooking lush green pastures the ranch. The apartment, located in a premier luxury barn, blends the spirit of rustic décor with high-end features including a
hand crafted cabinets, beautifully decorated interior, deluxe master suite, fully equipped kitchen with top-notch appliances and exquisitely crafted furniture.

The apartment has it's own private entrance inside the barn and it’s own parking.

Nestled in the Florida River Valley, the Ranch sits on 60+ acres with river frontage and offers immaculate landscaping, the tranquil sounds of the river and serene views of the mountains and pines. Perfect for rest and relaxation while traveling with your family. Additional blow up Bed is available please specify and review house rules.

Enjoy Fly Fishing? Take a break and relax by the river or the pond that features a relaxing waterfall. We have done extensive work to the river to create pools for the fish. Catch & release fishing only. (Winter time makes these area more challenging to get to and outdoor furniture is stored in winter)

Located just 11 miles from downtown Durango. Enjoy the many local area sites such as the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, National Parks & Monuments, Purgatory Ski Resort, Mesa Verde and much more. Take advantage of the many nearby outdoor sporting activities available which include fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, skiing and of course horse back riding. Access many trails from the Ranch property on the BLM.
Come here to relax and enjoy nature and all it has to offer. We promise you will want to come back again and again! This property is available year round for enjoyment of all seasons. Please note that we are not responsible for seasonal weather which can include snow, rain and mud.

Beautiful Apartment On A Ranch Not Far From Town
This is an exceptional property not far from Durango. The apartment is above horse stalls which might give you pause. Don't let it. The horse area is immaculate and the apartment is beautiful, new and upscale. Unfortunately, due to a problem with the water well, we did not get to stay at the property but Beverly was great, giving us a prompt full refund and offering to do anything she could to make it up to us. We're hosts ourselves so we completely understand that things beyond hosts control happen sometimes and would absolutely book this property again if we return to Durango - It's really a specail place.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It is the first time after many VRBO bookings that I can say I was fully comfortable with cleanliness. The owner was prompt with answers and very accomodating. My daughter enjoyed going and loving on the horses after a day of exploring the Durango area. It is about a mile round trip to walk to the river, but it is an absolutely beautiful area. The sounds of the river are therapeutic and relaxing after a long day. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us.

Don’t be fooled.
Apartment is not 2 bedrooms. Very uncomfortable for a family of even just 4 to try and sit to watch TV in the living room. Property was very muddy and we were unable to walk around because we didn’t have rubber boots. Property listing was not accurate.

We wanted something that wasn’t in town and this place delivered. The location is far enough to enjoy the beauty of the ranch but still close enough to town as well. The place itself is very homey and felt like home. Our kids loved the ranch and views. Highly recommend!

Peaceful elegance
This is a wonderful property that my family enjoyed while leaf-peeping and enjoying other activities the San Juans have to offer. We sat out on the balcony and watch the stars and could see the Milky Way each night. The apartment itself is wonderfully appointed and decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the property to the pond, watching the horses, and walking along the Florida River. My son loved the tree swing and frisbee golf. We highly recommend staying here, and we're already planning our return!

Gorgeous and peaceful
This apartment is comfortable and beautiful and immaculate. Beverly was great - even generously helped us out with an issue with our car. The setting on a horse ranch is lovely with good walks across the well kept property to the river and pond. Had some meals on the balcony overlooking hills, green pastures and horses. Close enough to town to enjoy all that Durango has to offer. We rented e-bikes on the Animas River trail and hiked the rim trail that offers great views of the city and surrounding mountains. The drive up the "million dollar highway" across Red Mountain Pass to Ouray is not to be missed and, of course, the steam train ride to Silverton - choose an open air and glass ceilinged car - amazing views! It was wonderful to return to the peace and comfort of "the ranch" each evening.
