「I booked the Pickled Parson for an overnight stay. The hotel and Sedgefield were both lovely. The staff were excellent, welcoming and explained all we needed to know at check-in, which included completing a breakfast form and time for breakfast. 「Our stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. This is a stately old home, full of beautiful furniture and dishes, near sheep pastures and the river.
