“In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !”

“This review is primarily based on the way that the owners behaved. The place was fantastic don't get me wrong but they really took what I had done for granted. First there was no cold plunge made available to which they should have made it clear. Second, there was a electronic gaming device known as the Wii which needed two AA batteries per controller to replace. They only had AAA. So I offered to go out of my own way to get some new batteries not just for us but for the next group of people.……
