“I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air.
The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. They have a selection of yogurts and cereal but the star of the show are the freshly made hot meals. I had eggs with toast and bacon each morning. Each plate is……

“Great location.
Night time staff were friendly.
Games provided in the public area a welcome surprise. Most are free to play.
Hidden car park charges shocking not advised at the booking, be aware.
Room clean, only negative feedback is lack of surface space. Room was a good size and very clean.
I would stay again. Grandson loved the hotel.”
