“We loved the apartment! Very clean, comfy beds, and the perfect location for access to activities: beaches and rock hunting, copper mine tours, hiking and cross country skiing trails. There was no smell of fish since the nearby fish shop was closed. Would definitely stay here again!”

“We loved staying at the property in Calumet. It was very clean and spacious. There were many small touches that made it comfortable. We did some cooking and found the kitchen well stocked. It has been nicely remodeled to keep the 'old time' feel while still remaining usable and efficient. It worked well as a home base to explore the Keweenaw. It is walkable to the bars and restaurants. The town is safe and friendly. We also enjoyed the history of Calumet and some of the architecture and……

“Were totally blindsided by the outside stairs to access the apartment. We are 79 years old and it was difficult to get our suitcases etc. up the stairs in a safe manner. We did like the fact that the property was clean and well equipped. Dishwasher worked well - coffeepot was adequate. There is a washer and a dryer although we didn't need those. We would have liked information on how to use the television/cable remotes. A neighbor had to show us how to use them. Bring ear plugs for the street……

“This place was very nice, everything you might need. I think it had central A/C, but there was also a window unit in the bedroom. It is a little annoying to have to type in two codes to exit and enter and it is near 41 so there is road noise and walking to Calumet is a little far. So this isn't super rustic or anything, but you can walk across the street to a gas station market so that is convenient.”

“Had a great time but a long way to travel and not know what house was mine to stay in. Glad cleaning people showed up or i would been sleeping in my car. They have serval house on property let that person now what house theirs staying i with the correct door code.”

“Daniell Manor was clean, quiet and comfortable. Contactless check-in was easy. The room had GREAT complementary snacks, and they have a really cool historical great room. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Copper Country!”
