“The desription of the cabin as "Scenic Alaskan cabin in the mountains" is NOT accurate. It is an old 2 story duplex, not a cabin. This place is in a run down neighborhood right off the Glenn Hyw in earshot of the traffic noise. Yes, there is a mountain in front of the house, but everything in Alaska has a mountain in view. All you can see of this "mountain" is the side and woods. The furnishings and provided cooking gear and coffee maker are Y2K yardsale and thrift store finds. It has old……

“The pictures were misleading, causing us to choose not to stay at apartment B, even though we paid for it. The photos showed both apartments, along with multiple beds. When my party of 3 showed up at the apartment, we noted that there was only one bed. When I messaged the owner stating that we needed to cancel the reservation before the established check-in time, I received no answer.”

“Communication with Troy was easy and quick. The house was clean and well equipped. (Bed was super comfy.) The entryway code system is the best! No keys or cards to fiddle with. The area is old Alaskan and kinda grubby but once you get inside it’s well appointed and modern. At end of the street so quiet. So many “goods” to outweigh the “bads “ of a non-attractive neighborhood. Thanks, Troy.”
