"We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens."

"We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone!"

"We had a wonderful long weekend stay for our son's graduation. The Bonnie Retreat was perfect for several adults to spread out and relax all weekend long. The main floor of the house had an open floor plan that was a great set up for a large informal get together/dinner. The hosts were so helpful, kind and responsive. We were so glad we went with The Bonnie Retreat vs a hotel. This was so much more comfortable for the whole family."

"Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you...

Wonderful bedrooms and discrete work areas on the inside accentuate the unbelievable pool area and pavilion behind. Beautifully well done, and not adequately depicted in pictures. It’s a near perfect getaway venue. Amazing hosts were always available and nothing went undone or wanting. Very responsive and cordial."

Nice location just outside of Harrisonburg, away from the crowds of students/parents on a very busy weekend, Stay was comfortable and we had plenty of room. "Could not be any happier…Hensley Hollow Lodge was fantastic!!! We were so pleasantly surprised at how a home that can accommodate/slerp 22 was truly spacious enough to be together without being on top of each other and the views were spectacular! Beds (& pillows) were very comfortable. Easy drive (10-12 minutes) to a grocery. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need (2 coffee pots and even 2 crock pots!).
