"I'm wondering why they didn't do the work outside the hotel and in the parking garage during the summer instead of during football season and the beginning of school at Iowa when they know they have sellout weekends every time. Also, this has gone on for much longer than it should take, especially the parking garage. And the elevator has been out of service or over 3 weeks that I know of and when you only have 2 elevators for 8 floors, you should make it a priority to fix it quicker than 21 days."

"The only thing I didn’t like was there is no elevator to get to 2nd floor. If a contractor on site didn’t help us, we wouldn’t have been able to get our suitcases."

"You get what you pay for and this was exactly what I paid for. It was so clean and tidy. The pool and hot tub were the cleanest I can recall ever seeing in a hotel. I loved how comfy the beds were- not the very stiff ones like at cheaper hotels. The room was so quiet! I could not hear anyone around us. Also, the blackout curtains worked wonderfully! I loved the river view and the little walk outside. The parking was pretty easy to get into, though a little confusing at first. Every part of the hotel was clean and well maintained. And it's so close to so many things! There were tons of restaurants, event centers, and stores within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again."

"Comfortable stay, breakfast could be better. Solid hotel overall. The room was clean, nicely appointed, and very comfortable — no complaints there, and it's the main reason I'd stay again. Breakfast was the weak spot. The eggs and sausage were pretty good, but the potatoes were dry, and service ended at 9:00 a.m., which is earlier than the 10:00 cutoff most hotels in this range offer. If you're not an early riser, plan accordingly or budget for breakfast elsewhere. Would recommend for the rooms, with the caveat that you shouldn't count on breakfast if you like to sleep in."
