“We loved this property. The owners obviously have an eye for decor as it is a really stylish place and beautifully finished. We loved how peaceful the property was and the owners had thought of everything . We really appreciated the tea, coffee and milk after a 5 hour drive and the muffins, biscuits and crisps were a lovely touch. All the information you needed was in a folder and we visited lots of the places recommenced in it. It’s a fantastic property and we hope to stay there again.”

“Not easy to find if you follow SatNav. Better to follow directions provided. Very pleasant situation in beautiful countryside. Staff were great, Room was good and reasonably comfortable but we fail to see how it qualified to be DeLux. Just little things would make a huge difference, For instance TV was mounted too high on the wall and therefore not comfortable to watch. Lighting was gloomy. Shower needed a grab rail being an over bath arrangement. Food was a bit of a let down, I……

“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. “The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, bedding and towels. Lovely big double windows gives plenty of natural light. A big built in wadrobe/cupboard gave plenty of storage space for clothes etc. An iron, heater, fan and hair dryer were all provided. The only thing that could possibly be improved is maybe some extra milk, it wasn't too much of an issue as I was on my own. However, im sure if I had asked the staff would have been more than accommodating as they were all very helpful and……

“Our superior room was looking tired and we didn’t have all the amenities in our room that are described on this site ie slippers,robes,coffee maker,espresso - the listing needs to be updated as I believe we have been “missold” No lift and a lot of stairs to access our room Breakfast was not as good as expected - the cooked breakfast was poor, poached eggs were hard and there was only one choice of pastry on the continental buffet, only one choice of milk and only cubed sugar that you can’t……

There was some discarded cigarettes by our bedroom door that a previous occupant must have left but housekeeping never removed them before or during our stay. Food in the restaurant was decent but the service was slow and we had to ask several times over for jugs of water to be brought to our table, too.
