“Beautiful property. Plenty of things to do and explore around the area, and yet, still peaceful. We had a wonderful time!”

“Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. Although the staff is off site they are super friendly, honest and pretty knowledgeable about the area which is great for first time visitors. The property was super clean and offers an amazing view of the Mississippi River and the lock and damn. My only bummer was the property is not in……

“It was a second vacation for us in this property (7 years ago), nothing changed the train was the most worst part of our vacation. Not enough sheets for living room bed, we found only 1 fitted sheet and 1 pillow case. There were a lot of coffee, creamers and other stuff, towels and sheets were clean, plenty of shower stuff. Very ease and quick communication with the host. Thank you so much !”

“We enjoyed our stay at the log cabin. The accommodations were as advertised. The owners were very responsive to questions. The exterior of the property needed its spring cleanup and then it would have looked like the photos. The screen was torn out of the back entry to the porch. There was hair in the main floor sheets. We really liked sitting on the porch and even got a visit from a fox on our last morning!”

“This tiny-home style log cabin was all we had hoped for. It is comfortable, immaculate, and extremely well-organized for storage and functionality. We especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities, with the fire pit and hot tub right on the river, in view of the lock -- and under the stars. Comfortable, private, easy access to the river town of Bellevue, Iowa - with an up-close taste and view of the Mississippi River -- all for a surprisingly reasonable price. Highly recommended!”

“If your looking for a modern, yet rustic cabin then this is it! This cabin is secluded, yet still close enough to shopping and the grocery. I was disappointed that the games require you to pay almost a dollar to use them. Would rather they just increase the fee and not charge to use the machines or take them out as kids can go thru some quarters when it’s almost a dollar a game. It’s a pain to run to the store and get more change. Had to run to two different stores and then to a bank as the……

“Leading up to our stay, the hosts went above and beyond to answer all of my questions promptly. We felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable in this home and the amenities it provided. I highly recommend this particular unit for its privacy as well, we felt totally alone despite being located alongside a small community of other residents. The hot tub was our #1 reason for booking and it worked swimmingly (no pun intended). This was the perfect romantic getaway for my anniversary. If you’re looking……

“It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!”

“Ensure you have AWD or 4WD and good tires. It’s a 10 miles drive on a very muddy/gravel, low maintained road with lots of holes. There were several times my van almost got stuck and I was sliding all over the road. The tree and water fountain were very cute but there were 2 dead mice around the bottom of the tree, inside the cabin. The road/driveway outside of the cabin was pure mud deep mud.
