“We were originally looking for a place closer to (or in) Bar Harbor. Because of the time of year, the options were more limited, prices were higher, and we also read about the number of tourists in the area. So, we expanded our search and found this property. It was perfect and we loved it here. The hosts have done a great job. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed. It's a short drive to the island and other attractions in the area, and it's located in a very quiet area. ……

“Unit 4 worked out very well for us. The location is great for visiting any part of Schoodic Peninsula, especially the national park, as well as venturing farther. The cabin was well taken care of and very clean. It was a comfortable place (e.g., nice beds, fan, mini-split, smart TV, big couch) and well equipped for cooking. “This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. We enjoyed cycling on the carriage roads, sea kayaking,……

“We stayed 2 nights while visiting Acadia. We wanted to be away from the craziness of Bar Harbor… this location satisfied this need. Check in and communication were great. We stayed in room 7. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Only minor issues that I would want others to consider is… 1) proximity to the highway is very close, which is apparent when I look back at the website pics. It wasn’t an issue for me, as I wear earplugs anyway, but I did hear a siren once, as it is that close.……
