「I only wanted a soft bed and a hot shower after camping for 3 nights in Acadia; this motel (it's NOT a hotel) offered that. Very basic small room, clean with A/C, but I loved the grounds; very pretty, and way back off Rt. 3, the main highway on Mt. Desert Island. It is NOT an "ocean view" however; on the north side of the island there is only a very pretty far-away view of "the narrows" connecting Frenchman Bay on the east and Blue Hill Bay on the west. 「The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.」

「The property was great. We only had an issue with checking in. When we provided our credit card for incidentals my card was declined. We tried other credit cards including my husbands and they all declined. It was quite embarrassing however the women at the front desk was super helpful and figured out it was an issue with Expedia. She mentioned that when I booked the rooms through Expedia the number of people in the room that was updated from 7 to 4 became an issue and the cards wouldn’t work....

"1第二次来住宿了，客房舒适、安静、卫生。 2.再一次赞酒店早上的咖啡，跟家里的一样香浓醇正，绝对是良心品质，希望一定要保持，上一次被经验，这一次依然如此；早餐的PIE非常好吃，肉肠的味道也十分丰富，搭配的蓝莓和草莓很新鲜、甘甜，这里盛产蓝莓，果然名不虚传。 3.交通便利，距离Acadia National Park门口开车约15分钟。镇上步行可以去很多餐厅，镇上的餐厅太惊艳了，海港城市一般海鲜都新鲜、甜美，因为在冬季光临，海鲜更是美味。这里去每一家餐厅都很进，还可以步行到海边。 4.酒店的工作人员非常Nice，我们Check In 的时候，前台准备了特别好吃的花生酱小饼和另外一种彩色的点心。大约是因为复活节的缘故，有复活节的特色。很温馨。 5.酒店地下有免费停车场，可以直达大堂和客房。 "
