She helped with an early check-in when we arrived earlier than expected and helped with storing our luggage on our depature day so we could explore more of the city before our flight. If/when we go back to Edinburgh we'll definitely look to book again!”

“Lovely stay in a nice room with en-suite, loved the old furniture and beautiful bathroom fittings. Staff lovely, continental breakfast with lots of choice. Parking is free, and although it is a very small village it was nice to walk around and the villagers were friendly too. ”

“Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter.……

“Staff were friendly, helpful. Bus very handy. Would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t need to be in town. Would have been helpful to know there aren’t any restaurants or pubs in close proximity. A list of those nearby with walking or commuting times would have been helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at 4 Friends. Thank you.”
