“Great accommodation with everything we needed. Amazing location - just 9 minutes walk to a fantastic beach for our two labradors to enjoy. Easy walk to Dirleton and the Archerfield Walled Garden.”

“Excessive charges for servicing and cleaning for a 3 night stay - £125 in total! Duplicated? There was never any hot water without over-riding the timer and having to wait an hour. No response from owner on this issue. Clean property but not good condition. Very uninviting shared entrance/stairway - poor condition. Overpriced property.”

“Could not ask for a better place to stay when visiting North Berwick. Can't beat the view out the living space. Great location, plenty of room for a group of four and could easily fit more as needed. One bedroom is accessed through another bedroom - not an issue for our group. Parking is fine for one vehicle. Will look to book again next time we're visiting. Everything was clean and clearly communicated.”

“Great location on the beach, 2 minutes walk to the High Street. Clean, comfortable and spacious (4 people) with a lovely sun room overlooking the beach and harbour. Parking is a bit tight, but we managed even with a large van. Only criticisms are lack of soaps/shampoos for the showers and no paper towels/tissues supplied. However, this seems to be the norm in Scotland and may be just my North American expectations not being met. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.”

“Location is great just up from the beach overall size of the property is good. Parking a bit of a nightmare when busy but managed to get parked on a nearby road. Overall we went in Jan for a 2 night stay and it was cold. The main lounge and main bedroom/bathroom were uncomfortably cold in the evenings, we couldn’t use space heaters with young kids overnight. The hot water for showers wasn’t exactly hot and felt like it ran out on shower two. Place could do with a good clean, main areas are clean……

“We loved staying in this caravan house with our family of 4 and one child. Well maintained, good range of kitchen equipments and good cleanliness. I would suggest couple of things to improve: few bin bags so we don't have to buy the whole new bundle, the washing liquid was all watery (added water) so we had to buy a new one for that as well and we have left some there for next tenants, and 1/2 extra towels if possible. Overall, the house provided everything we needed for 5 nights' stay there.……

“Communication with host impossible and caused. So many problems. Check in a. Nightmare almost thought we would have to find alternative accommodation! It overshadowed everything.”

“Host Lisa is a very lovely, caring soul. She is everything a host should be and more. The apartment was splendid. Of course I fell in love with the kitchen. You'll feel like you're in paradise.”

“Overall the property was nice to stay in. Very convenient for all amenities, public transport and walking. No private parking but free car park 3 minute walk away. ”
