“We book the Majestic for one night as they had over 8+ on Expedia. Well, we arrived at reception. All went well until we were told the lift is out of action and being repaired. Which we later found out is the same story they have been telling guests for months.
The very small room was embarrassing. A hole in the wall, electric socket not working, disgusting unwashed curtains, peeling paint everywhere, cracked sink, mould all over the shower head, broken wardrobe.
The only plus was the bed……

“I loved my cosy warm apartment, thoughtfully put together to give a stress free stay. The host was friendly and kind and was there if needed. Dedicated access, shower bathroom, patio and plenty of motion outside lighting - everything thought of.
Can't wait to visit the area again. Thank you”

“The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful.
The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time.”

“This place is little better than a youth hostel: unwelcoming, grim, dirty and unsafe. You would do better sleeping in a skip. There are no human beings involved in the entire process; all communication is through WhatsApp. Upon "registering" you are presented with a series of additional charges not mentioned on the booking site before "check-in".
The "hotel" is completely unmarked on a grotty street just off the beachfront. It apparently operates under multiple names. The front door to the……
