First room was in good condition and had a nice bathroom but the tv didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed they kindly found another room for us which was quite dated and bathroom was clean but very old. This room was noisy with people walking past and light coming in from hall.

Family-run hotel with great customer service

The Lansdowne is an amazing family-run hotel in a great location for exploring the scenic town of Eastbourne. The breakfasts are superb and the traditionally furnished lounge is a tranquil spot to while away some time boosted by the backdrop of sensational sea views. The bar menu offers some nice snacks too.The hotel provides reasonably priced parking permits so you can park opposite the hotel.
The scenery in Eastbourne is amazing.
The pier is an amazing focal point.
The architecture in Eastbourne is so elegant.

Lovely seafront hotel, well maintained.

Lovely hotel and some characterful communal areas and relaxing lounges. Clean and spacious rooms. Great location. Only issue was a loud fan noise coming from the kitchen - were told it would be switched off by 9pm but it wasn't - but after a follow up call it was switched off at 9:30pm.
