Plenty of room to spread out within the house and lots of places outdoors to explore. We decided this should our retirement home. Growing up on the eastern shore myself, this place had the perfect balance of seclusion, yet not too far away from crisfield whatsoever. So much character……

“I loved this place. There was an update in 2016 and someone made the mistake of getting white carpet. Live and learn. The bed was comfortable, there was a variety of pillows, the tavern shuts down at 9:00 so its all quiet by 11:00 p.m. The tavern is superb. I’d eat there again in a heartbeat. The place is old and has some quirks and that’s something that you either like because you like historical places or you don’t because you like modern things. I’d stay here again. ”

“The staff was very nice and helpful. Jenny at the front desk was very nice and Karen did a great job back in the continental breakfast area. Parking was convenient. The bathroom space is quite small and congested but workable. I wish we had a place to change in the bathroom but it's too small for a changing area. We still had a decent visit. It was quiet and at night the A/C wasn't loud. The place was close to shopping and sightseeing.”
