The house was clean but needs some general maintenance work. I communicated those issues with the rental company. The issues included blinds missing from a bedroom, a broken trash container, a leak in the basement, and possible mold as a result, possible termite damage, some leakage evident in the ceiling and a missing smoke detector from the bedroom accessed by the spiral staircase. The house is otherwise lovely so fixing these issues would help.

This is a fantastic property and house. At one point, we were 8 adults and the house accommodated us very well. The two tables, one inside and one outside on the deck very comfortably fit all us for large takeout meals from local seafood and pizza places. The location is centrally located between the bay and ocean so you're only a 5 min drive to either side, and less than 10 mins to more than enough restaurants. The house is on a deadend road, we were not bothered with any noises of cars consistently going up and down the road. As of this writing two different descriptions of the house state parking for 3 or for 4. We easily fit 4 cars in the driveway, and there was room for another if you need it. It's worth mentioning that this property is owned/operated by a vacation real estate company, rather than a home owned by a person. The house doesn't have all the personal touches of someone's home, but it does have all the things you need to stay and even cook for a week or more on The Cape.
