「The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.」

「We found The Duke to be 5star. Everything was perfect, especially the delightful young staff. Always smiling and very helpful. Decor was very sophisticated and stylish. All the meals were delicious and served on lovely hot plates!!!!!!!!! We will definitely return for another break. Thank you Duke team.」

「The shopkeeper was very enthusiastic and generous, the check-in was smooth and pleasant. The manor is in a good location, quiet & beatutiful, you can walk to most of the scenic spots in Winchester. The breakfast was delicious, and we also met other friendly customers to enjoy a good breakfast together. A highly recommended B&B.」

「Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)」

「A very historic old hotel with an excellent location and a 3-minute walk to the attractions you are interested in. Strangely, the parking lot downstairs is not the hamilton hotel, but its sister hotel. So drivers have to go to the paid parking lot behind the hotel. It's a little inconvenient.」

「The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. 「Everything was really good with our stay at Walhampton Arms last night! We were welcomed when we arrived to check in! We ate our dinner in the restaurant (I really like the small portions available for people like us who have smaller appetites) and breakfast was brilliant this morning! "The location is not good, far away from the city center. The room is not very clean. The staff will not let you feel welcome. The car park is not on site the hotel, need to walk to the public car parking , walk 5-7 mins. I will not stay at this hotel again. "
