“The house was clean. The host was friendly and accommodating for example when I inquired if the kitchen had a handheld mixer so we could make a cake for my daughter's birthday, the host put one there so that we would not have to bring ours. The host said that he would handle all of the cleanup when we left which made our last night much more relaxing than at other places we have stayed where we had to pack the night before so that we would be able to do the required cleaning in the morning. We……

“A True Step Back in Time – Unmatched Old Florida Charm!Rating: 5/5 StarsIf you want to experience authentic Old Florida, look no further than the Island Hotel & Restaurant on 2nd Street. Built in 1859, this historic building oozes character from every creaky wooden floorboard and thick tabby wall. Staying here is less like booking a standard hotel room and more like stepping straight into a living history museum—with all the warmth and hospitality you could ever ask for.”

“Our family made up of four generations filled the property in every corner. We especially liked the convenience of the private beach access out the back door and access to the private pool through the front door. The extra large dining table enabled everyone a place to eat together without tv trays or a staggered eating time. Each bedroom had a ceiling fan to enable temperature comfort. The location was close to the bridge, and was conveniently close to the Piggly Wiggly, food trucks and……
