「We stayed with our grown up children for a night to catch up and relax together. The hotel is lovely and spacious and even though they had a Christmas party going on we didn't feel that we had been pushed out. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was good. There was a minor hiccup with the order but resolved with no fuss.We used the spa facilities which were all clean and working. 「A very well.appointed cottage in a brilliant location in the heart of Wooler. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was always very responsive when we had any queries. All the main attractions in Northumberland are easily accessible from Wooler so it's a brilliant place to stay to explore this beautiful county. I can highly recommend this lovely property.」

「The property was nice inside but the room we had was in the old part wasn’t very clean a lot of dust furniture tatty curtains hanging off the rail water stains on ceiling paint all flaking on the walls in the window and a lot of cold coming from the windows really bad stains on the mattress but the towels and bedding was very clean left the portable heater on all nite to keep the room warm」
