“Very professional staff, breakfast could be better”

“Homewood suites in Eatontown is a favorite stay of my family when visiting long branch. the place was great, the breakfast was great for being free. the staff are amazing. All is pretty excellent only issue in this last visit my was with the pool. on two occasions I wanted to go for a swim and they were cleaning it. For being open 9-8pm if your going to clean it. It should be cleaned before this time. on my check out date I wanted to go for a last swim and due to rain the night before the pool……

“Stay away. I know it’s not supposed to be a 5 star hotel, it’s an older motel - BUT, the room was filthy. Dead bugs, stains on the chairs, floor, pillow cases. Ac unit had mold on the cover. Cannot blame the manager on-site, he’s a young kid with only so much he can do. If it wasn’t the fact that we drive 2 hours and it was a holiday weekend we would have walked out after being in the room for 30 seconds”

“I can’t explain how dirty and disgusting the room was it was a health hazard. Positive: shower pressure, mini fridge in room, AC was working and very cold, access to beach was amazing and ample parking! Negative: no garbage can in the room, bathroom shower had no shelf all their products were in the floor, shower was disgusting and filthy had to wear flip flops in the shower, vent in the bathroom was covered with black mold, lights in the bedroom didn’t work and covered in black mold it was……

“Typical Jersey Motel the smell, the look, the size. I guess if you compare prices it’s an ok price but definitely not worth the price for that room. 10 minutes from Point Pleasant I guess if you have no other choice.”

“We experienced comfort and relaxation in our Queen Porch room. The porch addition allowed us the extra space to drink tea and read in the afternoon. The weather changed to chilly during our stay and it was lovely to rest next to the fireplace downstairs. Breakfast was a perfect variety of fruit, pastry, yogurt, and salami.
