“The property is great. Location is great - and beautiful. The house would work well for large groups. Our group of 5 was there between Christmas and New Years so cold weather had us spending a couple of family days inside playing games and discussing what to eat next. Sharon made it easy to check in. The house is an old farmhouse so there is a historic feel to the property. We would love to know the history of the house and property. ”

“This property was wonderful. It’s small, as expected, but well laid out and perfect for my family. Everything was perfectly clean and everything worked as expected. My kids (9 and 11) loved the loft “bedroom” though this wouldn’t work for kids much older (or much younger) due to the ladder and limited head room. But it was great for us. Also, the property is very private. There is a dirt road in view in front, but we saw only 1 vehicle the whole time. The forest view off the back porch was……

“We had a great stay at this cabin! Host was responsive and gave many ideas of what to do. The cabin was cozy and it was a perfect stay! A must see is the caverns about 20-30 min away. We drove a Subaru Outback suv and had no problem with the road going up to the cabin, if it snows it can be slippery and icy going down, drive very slow. Overall 5 star stay! Thanks ”

We discovered the terrific Shenandoah River State Park just 15 minutes away. Host is great communicator, everything went smoothly.”
