Walkable from airport, if not too much luggage. Great selection at breakfast. Rooms small yet functional. Fun deco. A great last night before an early flight. Would not stay here to visit Edinburgh, but responds well to the need near airport

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
The Apex proved to be a great hotel choice while in Edinburgh. A close walk to the Royal Mile and literally above the train station made it very convenient to site see and then catch the train to London. The hotel felt very safe and comfortable. Apex Grassmarket Hotel
The staff were so friendly, warm and genuine. The location was absolutely perfect, couldn't believe the view of the castle from our room. Comfortable beds & lovely room. The only slight draw back was the noise from the pubs opposite at night, but the castle view more than made up for this.
