"staff was professional, food was good, stay was great. Room clean, service was quick. Only issue; airport shuttle was late, front desk staff did their best to assist but the shuttle didn't come in time. Would recommend this stay to anyone needing a close and accessible spot to the airport!"

"I paid for concierge lounge access specifically for workspace during my business stay. The experience was defined by misinformation and unprofessional service. Check-In Issues: Told our vehicle wouldn't fit in the parkade—a bellman later confirmed it would. My room number was announced aloud in the busy lobby, a basic privacy breach. Lounge Access Misrepresented: The lounge operates strictly as a meal service area with limited hours, not a workspace. Breakfast was minimal (toast and granola bars). This was never disclosed. Business Centre Closed: Closed for renovations without notice. Staff gave three conflicting sets of lounge hours and responded to my questions with laughter. Undisclosed Construction: Active construction directly above my room all day. Never mentioned at check-in. I spent the day apologizing for noise on virtual meetings with no alternative workspace available. Room Condition: Spacious but carpet was stained and unvacuumed. Parking Ticket: Received a ticket while parked exactly as valet instructed. Management Response: GM offered a complimentary room (employer-paid, so didn't benefit me personally) but declined to reimburse out-of-pocket costs for breakfast and co-working space rental. Bottom Line: If traveling for business or expecting advertised amenities and transparency, look elsewhere. Lack of communication and failure to deliver on paid upgrades made this deeply frustrating."

"Specific situation: We arrived after 9pm and had to wait for the room to be checked before we could check in, apparently they were checking to see if the carpet was still wet. We eventually left our bags and went to get some food because restaurants close at 10pm. Came back around 10:30pm and went up to room. It had an unpleasant smell, but we figured that was because of the recent carpet cleaning. Turned out we discovered the next day that the carpet was saturated beside one of the beds, which was the cause of the smell. Really disappointed that we were given a room that was less than acceptable after we were made to wait while someone "checked" it. The upgrade charge was removed as compensation, but it was incredibly disappointing to be put in this situation to begin with. Overall, front desk was consistently understaffed (usually 1 person on the desk) with no one else around at concierge or front door. Not easy to get help or quick answers. Room was not thoroughly cleaned, upon arrival there was a hair clip in the bathroom that wasn't ours, and garbage behind the side table which we discovered when we moved it. Only one of 2 beds was made for us during the stay."
