After checking in and parking the parking area appeared to be very unsafe and scary. While the front desk clerk assured me they had cameras and a night security guard it still was uncertain feeling. I was Approached by beggars in the lot as well. It would be nice if someone was around to ensure guest safety. Each time we left there was always someone lurking around. Possible security patrols might help dissuade loitering. But all in all the stay was pleasant and the breakfast option each morning was far more than expected! Thank you!

Hotel building is old, but well maintained. Staff was professional and helpful. The Room was upgraded to a unit with two beds, which was nice. Continental breakfast was typical. Located in Downtown Edmonton, which is not always the safest, but we encountered no issues.

Went to check in and they required a deposit. They wanted $100 on credit card or $500 on debit. Didn’t have my cards with me but had Cash. They wouldn’t take it. When asked if my signifiant other could provide a credit card via phone/or by authorization form they wouldn’t accept anything. They refused to work with us. I was tired and sick, and just wanted a room and got frustrated.

While the hotel has seen better days, the place is cleaner than some newer hotels, and the staff is very attentive and professional. The area is very close to the light rail, which makes it very convenient.

We stayed in the presidential suite #519 full hot tub room. Very big and clean. Older hotel but can’t beat the price or location. Parking 10.00 extra a night and had no issues. Pool is a wading pool can’t swim in in it but little kids would have a blast I’m sure. Staff were excellent and the doors are locked after a certain time to keep the bums out lol. Breakfast was ok typical Continental they used to have a really good Chinese restaurant there but closed for Reno’s right now. But lots of other great restaurants within walking distance. Definitely give this one a try.

We have stayed here many times. The staff are always very accommodating and helpful. They do need to do some upgrades though. The wifi does not work on the TV so you can't stream or listen to music. Also the pool area was a little cringy. My boys didn't want to go in. No jets on the hot tub either.
