A solid 3/5 overall. TBH we expected more for the cost. Room was a good size, slightly tired & would benefit from refurbishment. The bed seemed small and was uncomfortable. Yup, sadly, the bed was uncomfortable; the one thing that a hotel really should make an effort to get right :(
Sound proofing between rooms was very good. However, noise disturbance from outside was not - the hotel management appear to be aware of this, hence, providing ear plugs for guests. We prefer to use stairs when staying at hotels but there is only the elevator option here.
Breakfast food was ok, nothing special. Several casual low tables were set for breakfast which was odd since these low tables are designed for placing a beverage glass atop whilst reclining in one's chair of an evening and not at all suitable for breakfast, the result was that there were insufficient tables to accommodate guests at breakfast - we were given the option to enjoy our breakfast in the adjoining board room which was weird... On the second morning it was the same breakfast minus items that they'd run-out of, Eg. No yogurt.
The area around the hotel is nice with interesting shops & eateries (apart from the megaphone preacher late on Saturday night 7 floors below us, repent repent repent & the deep base with thumping techno beat that followed on from the preacher into the early hours of Sunday morning).
The valet parking worked fine with a 30 to 45 mins request wait time - there is no self-parking $$.
