Education Hill hotels in Seattle

"This venerable old hotel needs a style refresh and some new carpeting. Our room was not entirely soundproof. The staff are wonderful and the location right near the Market is super. The restaurant was operating on a limited menu; we look forward to the return of Andaluca. It's a good value for money, but has quirks."

"The breakfast buffet and menu were excellent. The buffet is only for people who included it when they booked the room. My daughter and I arrived at midnight and the front doors to hotel were locked. We had to use an elevator in a parking garage to get to a door into the hotel that was locked. We had to call a toll free number to have someone come open the door so we could check in. This was time consuming and a bit scary being in a parking garage elevator late at night. The signage was very poor trying to figure out a way to check in. Once in the hotel our stay was great. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were excellent and the bidet was wonderful in the bathroom. A big negative of the bathroom was the barn door style entry. It was heavy and didn't close properly. There was at least a inch gap to the hotel room."

"Location was excellent for our needs, and the room was comfortable and clean. There was an easily accessible microwave for communal use on the second floor, and a machine to make more coffee. Only real thing people need to be aware of is that there’s about 10 steps down from reception to get to the lift to go to your floor. This means carrying the suitcases. There wasn’t an accessible option that we could find. "

"I liked that the bathroom had more than adequate shelf space for our toiletries. The bathroom could use better light (an issue with most hotel bathrooms.) Good location, walking distance to many attractions and many restaurants just around the corner. Nice rooftop bar."

"Hotel is nice but it’s surrounded by unsafe public people. I saw homeless on different areas and drugged citizens, one guy yelled at my husband on a Safaway market for no reason."
