“Great, quiet getaway. Fun to talk to the alpacas and watch the chickens and ducks. Short drive to the redwoods. Owner was very responsive via text when we needed something.”

Tuya's is excellent and don't miss Poppa Joe's for the local breakfast scene and history lesson. The cemetery is very unique and a short away. Also the beach is close. Resident deer tribe is always close on the property. Great place to stay.”

“Room was nice. Morning breakfast was also nice. We stayed at this hotel many years ago. Only negative… they now close the pool area at 10pm. Previously, we were able to relax around the fire pit in the evenings, chatting over several glasses of wine. Pool area is very tranquil and nice. Now.. they close at 10pm. No alcohol allowed.. no glass allowed. Their website did not explain any of this. The only reason we booked this hotel was because of the wonderful, positive experience we had in……

“The hotel is in an economically depressed part of Eureka, but we still felt safe on the hotel grounds. The hotel has plenty of parking and a beautiful secured courtyard. The courtyard has a lushly landscaped Koi pond with a little walking bridge over it. Hiding amongst the lush plantings there are frogs who sing at night. James at the front desk was very upbeat and helpful when we checked in. The young lady at the front desk ( I am sorry, I don't recall her name) was very accommodating when……

Stay here over the Hampton Inn or Best Western. Take a stroll on the “boardwalk”, visit the fun shoppes down the street. Loved the yoga room!”
