「酒店位于山上，条件还行服务合格但说不上非常好。也许是因为我们刚从La Fortuna最好的酒店过来，也许是因为前面关于这个酒店的评语都太好了把我的期望抬高了，毕竟这个酒店价格不是很高，只有La Fortuna的酒店一半价格，甚至连一半也不到。这样看就还是可以的，但是我还是坚持给四个星，因为我最不满意的是房间没有遮光窗帘，我天天五点多就被亮光叫醒，另外我不喜欢高枕头，所以觉得枕头太高，最后一天我只能枕浴巾。」

「The staff was so lovely and warm, and really made us feel at home. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and my kids had a wonderful time visiting the farm animals. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.」

「The property grounds are incredible, offering an abundance of options for guests to explore and have access to. All staff encountered were kind and helpful. It was also a complete benefit that the Cloud Forest shuttle is literally right across the road! We would definitely stay here again!」

「The property has no air conditioning! Yes if we cranked a window would be perfect but the window had no protection from any wild life! No net nothing」

「The property is pretty basic, no frills, just a simple room with a bad bed, a desk and chair, and a mini refrigerator. No A/C, not even a trash container in the room, only in the bathroom. The staff was very supportive and willing to help with everything, but the property needs some upgrades. 」

「Ingen info om noget da vi ankom. Virkede som om vi var til besvær. Vidste ikke rigtig hvem der var ansat, og hvem der var gæster. Køkkenet vi kunne tilberede vores mad i var beskidt. Madvarer hunde/katte foder og madskåle til dyr stod midt på gulvet i køkkenet Værelse var fint. Blev først gjort rent på 3. dagen da vi bad om det. 」

「The Trapp Family Lodge is in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. Delicious home cooked breakfast, and the restaurant was well priced and great food. The staff were always smiling and very friendly. Made us feel right at home.」

「The staff went above and beyond to help us arrange tours and guides. The room was super clean and comfortable, with a good kitchen. The property is gorgeous! Just like having a wildlife reserve just outside your door, including good hiking trails to the upper part of the property.」

「Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather.」
