“Great place to stay. Clean room, good size room, comfortable beds. The place was clean and very good location. The lady in charge very nice, very good breakfast. I totally recommend the place.”

“The building is a beautiful and charming example of colonial Spanish architecture, complete with two enclosed "courtyards". The complimentary breakfast included eggs with choice of veggies and preparation, yogurt with copious fresh fruit and granola, a selection of fresh breads, fresh squeezed fruit juice, and choice of delicious coffee or hot chocolate. The staff members were very friendly and helpful; most spoke English, all spoke Spanish. The location was within several minutes walking……

“The hot water didnt work the first night. Staff is not attentive nor welcoming. There was no hair dryer in the room. Breakfast is included but not much to select. Do not waste your money here. There are better places in Cuenca. ”

“This hotel is nice enough and the bed was comfortable. The room was on the front facing a busy street-noisy. I was assured that I had a room "on this floor" but I had to climb many steps to get to it. Breakfast was down two levels which I could not manage. My pet was accommodated but I did pay extra - which was fine.”

“Great location and can not say enough positives about the staff. Because it is a little dated, there has been a little setting causing all the doors to the rooms to bind and therefore, very noisy. Easy solution is to take the doors off the hinges and sand them down so they close easily without force. The noise definitely will wake you up when your neighbors are going or coming or when you are exiting. ”
