I was on the 3rd floor and the mountain view was gorgeous and it was nice to have so many restaurant options on site. "It is a dated hotel. And it is north of Tucson in the town of Catalina, AZ. So if you want to be closer to downtown Tucson, this may not be the place to stay.
That being said, the staff and GM made the stay comfortable and resolved any issues. They really cared to make the stay nice. Plus, Catalina State Park is a few miles away along with horseback riding ranches and Oro Valley Marketplace. So it is a good place to stay if those are your intentions."
