"We chose to use a shuttle service separate from the resort, and it ended up being both more affordable and more efficient—definitely worth it. The room exceeded expectations and was fully stocked with amenities. It made for an incredibly comfortable and beautiful stay. The beach itself is clear and scenic, though the water is a bit rocky, so just something to be aware of. One small drawback was that the Imperial Suite didn’t include a private cabana, which would have been a nice touch—but overall, everything else more than made up for it. The food was excellent across the board. I was a little unsure going in, but it quickly put me at ease. Drinks were also top-notch. Pro tip: tip a little early on, and the service level goes above and beyond—you’ll feel like royalty."

"The food, staff, and customer service are horrible at this hotel. They require you to make reservations for all restaurants through an app that doesn’t work. You can only make 2 days of reservations and can only make them once you are on property. Concierge staff are the worst - rude and unhelpful! You can’t swim in the ocean (actually a bay) because of the murky water with tons of jelly fish. Spend less money and stay at a much better place like Secrets or Dreams (right down the street). The only thing amazing about this hotel is the fitness center and the upstairs adult Club Azur pool and restaurant."

"We stayed at the resort from March 14-22 (family of 5, three boys aged between 13-16) and had a very good but not perfect stay. POSITIVES: - clean grounds and rooms, you can definitely tell they went through a major renovation within the past 18-24 months - large and enjoyable pool, which never felt crowded even though the resort was fully booked - very good beach condition, and despite being windy most days we enjoyed the ocean with little to no seaweed - plenty of dining options, but see NEGATIVES below for more details - friendly staff - great follow-up from concierge staff after they helped us deal with a somewhat serious medical issue - the best a la carte restaurants for us were Umi (Pan Asian), Bella (Italian), but we were a little disappointed in the food overall - out eldest used the gym a lot and found it to be well-equipped NEGATIVES: - be prepared to get up early to secure pool chairs... there simply aren't enough for even half the guests, and if you're not down to save a spot by 7am you might be out of luck - while the staff was friendly, they didn't seem to try and draw guests into activities like we've experienced at other resorts in the past - the food was MEH... not bad, but not particularly good either - while the concierge staff was very helpful during a medical issue, we found the actual on-site doctor to be a little disorganized and casual in his approach to our situation... he did help get us sorted out, but could have made the process a little easier"

"Internet was spotty, cold shower for the first 3 days. Food was subpar, bad lighting in the bathroom. Don't upgrade to oceanview, or should I say palmtree view. Workers were awesome. Especially Willki in concierge, Maria in entertainment and Marco at thd pool bar were especially helpful and very good to my wife and I and our traveling companions."

"The resort was very accommodating and staff was very friendly and happy most of the time. The only thing we wished would've been different was the variety of food options and quality of food. It was very average for the value of the stay in my opinion. It also would have been nice for the International Buffet to be open for dinner hours as well, there were limited options. The drinks were great and guest accommodations were amazing. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. The property was big enough to always feel like there was something to do, but never felt overwhelming and even at full capacity we easily found beach or pool chairs and rarely waited anything. Food was decent, and our favourite location to eat was the privilege lounge. The food is delicious, the service was great and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Special shout out to Our concierge Deiby as he helped make our vacation feel effortless and to the all privileged pool bar staff for mixing delicious drinks (Jonathan makes the best mojito) and for making our kids feel special by making endless kid friendly fancy drinks. Would return again."
