「The description is accurate. It’s a very spacious, clean space that overlooks a cute little frog pond. I appreciated the earplugs the host left for those were bothered by the frogs at night, but they actually were quite lovely to hear. This is not a beachfront property, but if you’re just looking for a nice clean homebase, nice kitchen and comfortable living and dining areas, this is perfect.」

「We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out...

「Awesome 2 bedroom condo right off the beach. It has great swimming pools and work out facilities. The gas grills were key for feeding a family of 5 considering eating out gets really expensive on the island. Just wish for the amount that we spent we would have gotten a full size kitchen. It had a microwave oven. There is no conventional oven and the electric stove only had 2 very weak cooking surfaces. The time share owner condominiums have better amenities. The front desk staff was friendly...

「Best thing about this place is location. Very close to beach and strip mall right across from this resort property. Few things which were disappointing was the noise from the wild chickens that wander the property. They started making noise every morning at round 3AM. They are loud and I had to put on my noise cancellation headphones to get back to sleep. "Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
