“SugarCube is a beautiful gem in Harbour Island. Ideally centered in colonial Dunmore Town, it is a truly fabulous place to stay. Both cosy and classy, it has all the amenities for a romantic sejour for 2.”

“Java Cottage was a beautiful property in the heart of Dunmore Town with walkable access to virtually everything. Combined with the pool, grounds, and outdoor cooking/dining/lounging areas, it was a true oasis within an oasis. Host Anna, property manager Rosemary, and staff Issie, Donna & Tis couldn't have been more helpful, responsive, and friendly. Being an older home, it has a few quirks, but they simply added to the charm rather than detracted from the stay. One note for those traveling……

“The home is beautiful, clean , and just as the pictures described. April and Ty are great host, available when needed. Brandi was nice and showed us around the island was very responsive when needed. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.”

“The location was perfect for the Independence Day celebration. We were able to walk right to the beach in about 3 minutes. The bathrooms and house were very clean. However, the cookware was old and worn out. Scott the property manager was fantastic. There was a thunderstorm and the TV and Internet blew out but he was there right away and replaced it with a brand new TV.”

“Beautiful House on the beach. Very clean, comfortable and spacious for my family. Beds were very comfortable which is a big plus for us as well. “We truly enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth on Crown. We found it to be an excellent location, clean and well stocked, a magical island vibe. As long as you are prepared for roosters crowing in the early morning (which is everywhere on the island, not just here), and have earplugs, you will love it here!”

“I had a great relaxing week at Governor's Harbor...the cottage was perfect (including a supporting bed). John, the owner/host was always available when needed and always helpful. I got in a routine....coffee, news and a book early morning, then off to find a beach to snorkel and walk at...then find a beach lunch and then siesta...around 5 or 6 I would walk down to Twin Cove for an evening dip in the crystal clear Atlantic...then a lite dinner and people watching...repeat for 7 days. I came back……

“Shorebreak can take you back in time. The cottage perched above the breaking waves of the Atlantic is nothing short of breathtaking. From morning coffee to evening conversation, the back deck was a centerpiece for the house. Unfortunately, the ocean took the beach out to sea the week we were staying there, but we adventured to over 10 beaches from French Leave Beach and Surfers Beach all the way up to swim with pigs and turtles. The house has all the necessities that you could need for a weeks……

“House is very nice, perfect for two people. Mini split cools the house, laundry on site is a plus. They made it very easy for me to extend a few days and kept in touch the entire trip. The driveway is steep, and rocky but overall it was very nice and they were very accommodating to our needs! Thank you!!”

“Ocean was amazing! Cottage as described, would be nice to have a dishwasher & few more casserole type or mixing bowls & something to clean grill with but other than that totally amazing, relaxing & much solitude on the beach. Would highly recommend, just loved it!”

“We had a fabulous stay at the house! Everything was perfect! Carole arranged for our transportation from the airport to the dock and the ferry ride over to Spanish Wells. Once we arrived at Spanish Wells dock Audrey the caretaker was waiting for us and escorted us back to the house. Our golf cart rental was also prearranged and waiting at the dock when we arrived. The house was spotless and had everything you would need. Plenty of beach toys, beach towels even sunscreen! The views from the porch……

“The cottage was perfect, everything I needed and a great location. A 5 min drive to Twin Coves Beach which was my favorite beach. I snorkeled there everyday. Governor's Harbour is a great central location on the island. Theresa was lovely host and I enjoyed our conversations. Can't wait to go back!”
