“This is a really sweet spot. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, perched on a waterfront point. Great access to kyaks etc although we did not stay long enough to enjoy. Host lived on property and was totally available when needed but not hovering. Would come back.”

“The tiny house was cozy and clean and there were a lot of thoughtful little touches like recommendations to restaurants and coffeeshops. We appreciated the clever use of space and the close walk to the beach. It was a lovely getaway. A couple suggestions: 1) include instructions for the hot plate . 2) Store items outside in a shed; the property looked a little cluttered.”

“The studio was very cute and nicely decorated. Everything was clean and in good condition. We really like the privacy aspect of the entrance and area outside to relax. It was a nice little spot that was an easy walking distance to the beach. We biked to Duck in just a few minutes. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this spot for a couple on a budget beach vacation.”

“Our stay at this location was somewhat of a mixed experience. Unfortunately, we were unaware that the accommodation was located directly upstairs at a country club. This would have influenced our decision to rent due to potential noise and privacy with our small children. Additionally, check-in was delayed by 3 hours as the room was not ready on time. However, the host made amends by providing a gift card to the on-site restaurant, and we appreciated it. On a positive note, the space was……

“Our family take two mini vacations a year. This time we decided to do a non-tourist, non event kind of vacation. This property was perfect. The home was very tastefully decorated, and we enjoyed the host's personal art, which could be seen in every room. The layout of the home and the outside lent itself to a "stay home" kind of vacation, yet when someone needed space there was somewhere, inside or outside to go. “Property included lots of activities for families - shuffleboard, table tennis and indoor pool were our favorites. Everything was clean and stocked ( pots, extra bedding) and included free laundry machines! ”

“The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although……
