「I came here as a Lees-McRae alumni along with 3 other alumni friends for a weekend event. We really enjoyed being in this condo. It was clean and stocked with snacks and coffee for us. It was very spacious with great amenities. It was awesome to be in walking distance from downtown BE. Also not having any stairs was so nice! 「Perfect location for our girls trip. It was exactly as described. Place was very clean. Easy check in process. Host very responsive with communication. Breathtaking views. LOVED all the windows in the living room that overlooked downtown Banner Elk. We felt very safe and comfortable. We didn’t find it walkable as described due to hilly roads. Overall this was an excellent place and would definitely stay here again. 」

「Last minute booking for July 4th weekend. Booked through Vrbo. Reasonable price. Great location. Very compact chalet, but efficient layout. Very clean. Didn’t care for the bed “cubicle.” Difficult for person sleeping on the inside (wall) to get out once you’re in bed. Also, rather thin walls. Could hear the people snoring in the next unit, and people walking in unit above. Got to enjoy fireworks shows over both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain just down the hill. Would gladly stay again. 」

「We enjoyed our short stay for New Years! The home is close to Beech Mountian where we spent the day skiing! The condo was cozy for our family of five. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the pool, hot tub, arcade and gym.we will definitely be back. 」

「Unit was nice. Well equipped kitchen. Board games were a fun touch. Very close access to communal pool, hot tub, ping pong, etc. which my kids and I enjoyed. Easy parking. Perfect location. Very close to the few restaurants in the area, Fred's Mercantile (where we rented our equipment, got snacks, etc.) and the overflow lot and shuttle (necessary on Sat/Sun if you're not an early riser). Very nice stay.」

「I keep getting prompted to review the property even though we unfortunately had to cancel our trip! I so appreciate the diligence of the owners in responding to us and issuing a refund, and I hope to visit at another time! My heart is with the people of Banner Elk as they recover.」
