“We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!”

“We were looking for an ideal place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. When you open the door, you get hit with a great view of the ocean and Mendocino town from afar, we loved our stay and plan to return. Thank you both for letting us enjoy your beautiful place. “We had trouble with the tv as there were no instructions. The grill for the cold air intake for the furnace had come undone and was hanging down . It was like that upon our arrival . It was not a problem though. Other than that it was a fantastic stay. The location was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the light in the loft and the view.”

“My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again,……

“We had such a lovely time in this unique vacation rental! Staying in the old lighthouse was very charming and access to the roof with views was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. This is the kind of place I always hope for when looking on vrbo - character, charm, and also easy access. The room was smaller than anticipated, but with just the two of us we didn't mind at all. “We had a fabulous time at Mike and Eula's place. We visit Mendocino frequently and this has been our favorite to-date. Great location, spotless, and very comfortable. Updated and modern furnishings and a wonderful deck overlooking the headlands. The noise from the bar a few doors down was sometimes audible at night from the master bedroom, but nothing a white noise machine couldn't fix.”

“Perfect getaway for two! Everything we love about being outdoors without camping- fire pit hang within the trees and the perfect distance from the ocean. It was great. The tiny house & bathroom were cozy & charming and the host was warm & super friendly! Already thinking of our next visit! ”

“Converted the dance studio was a very cool and unique stay. My partner and I and our dog had a great time exploring all of the neighboring towns- everything was 6-15minutes away. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Only one watch out- if you like to sleep in pitch black just be mindful that the main bedroom only has a 3/4 high wall and there is a sunlight in the roof so it will be light in the morning. We didn’t mind, but the host did thoughtfully provide eye masks if needed.”

“The location, beach access and view from home was amazing! The home was decently stocked, but some needs some small improvements. The faucet in the shower needs replaced & the sink is rickety in the bathroom. There were ant bait traps all over the home, and we saw a few ants. The main concern is the entrance to the home. It’s not really the grade of the driveway, but the blind entrance onto HWY 1. The shrubs should be removed and a mirror added for better vision. We had to use my 16 year old……
