“Went for a quick family trip at the end of basketball season to try and squeeze in a ski/board trip. Elk River made check in super easy and even made it possible for us to check in early. The cabin had everything we needed for our trip and Ellie Mays restaurant was awesome. For those that like sweet tea, there’s was on another level. The grounds itself had a lot to offer and my daughter and I did some exploring 2 of the days we were there.”

“This will be my go to place to stay for any Snowshoe trip! The owner/host was amazing, extremely friendly and welcoming! The rooms were neat and clean. The house was so cozy! The owner made it feel like home. I cannot recommend it enough! ”

The homeowners were so understanding and wonderful during all this which I am so appreciative for. The suite was clean, stocked with snacks, tea, and hot chocolate which was so sweet. Overall, after being on the slopes all day my partner and I had an amazing relaxing stay.”

“This cabin was perfect for my wife and me. The cabin was functional, felt new and was very comfortable. The cabin is in a remote section of WV and quiet, save a few vehicles passing by on the main road. We wished our stay was longer!”

“We chose this property for the proximity to the resort, as well as the amenities for our family. As a family of 5 with a toddler and two teenagers, it provided great spaces for separation and relaxation. The rooms were all very comfortable and had everything necessary to feel like home. A huge plus was that it was warm and cozy. We stayed in many places where the cabins felt cold and no matter how hard you tried you just couldn’t seem to get warm. “This was such an amazing cabin! Amazing views! Only thing that sucked was that we went when everything was closed. First two weeks in November, they close most of the stores and restaurants, other than that, we loved the trails and the cabin.”

“The house was was perfect for a larger group coming to the area. There was plenty of space and it was pretty clean. The only issues we encountered were that the hot tub was only filled halfway so we had to fill it ourselves, the drinking water jug was empty, and the tap water had a smell to it. Otherwise, we had a great time and the house fit our needs.”

“Everything was great except neighbors dogs barking all hours of the night, but owner of house couldn’t help that, we just turned the tv on at night to block it out. Will definitely rent again if we return to snowshoe”
