We had an amazing weekend. Group of old friends got together to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Made many meals, had fires at night, went to a local swimming spot. The house was clean and accommodated a group of 12 of us easily. Hoping to now make it an annual thing for our group.

Wonderful!

The property was beautiful and so was the house! Perfect for what we were looking for- A relaxing girls weekend! The basement was a great hangout spot and was easy to come in and out from The hottub! Short drive into town with delicious food and bars. Also a 10 minutes drive to hunter brewery. We had 1 little issue with the television and right when I emailed JoAnn she offered to give us a call and walk us through how to use it. It didn’t hinder our stay at all. Everything was perfect.

Dreamy Mountain Getaway!!

I cannot say enough good things about the Scott & JoAnn's gorgeous mountain home. We had a group of 15 family and friends gathered for my sister's 30th birthday, and had the perfect amount of space to fit us all. They really have been thoughtful with the property - from the firepit and fireplaces, to the outdoor dining area and grill, the pool table and jacuzzi. The house was outfitted with everything we needed for a proper celebration (cooking equipment, utensils, etc.) - it's those little things that count! Thank you for an amazing stay, JoAnn - our group is already talking about when we can plan a return trip :)

A Beautiful, Unique Escape

The Mink Hollow Lodge was the perfect escape for a birthday weekend I'll never forget. Situated on a beautifully lush plot of land, it had the desired feeling of natural remoteness while still being close enough to grocery stores and sites like Kaaterskill Falls. The house has everything you want for a weekend - hot tub, pool table, fire pit. JoAnn and Scott were kind, communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great getaway for a long weekend!

We had a fantastic stay at the Mink Hollow Lodge over President's Weekend. The house was exactly as described and comfortably fit our group of 12. Highlights included the hot tub, game room, and easy access to lots of outdoor activities. JoAnn and Scott were helpful, responsive, and definitely made us want to come again!

Perfect quiet hideaway!

Every year we get together for a small college reunion. This year we stayed at Mink Hollow Lodge. It was the perfect location for the 8 of us to unwind, relax and enjoy each other's company. The house, nestled in the woods, is lovely and well appointed. We cooked a wonderful dinner on our first night and enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The bedrooms were comfortable and every couple had their own bathroom. Saturday was spent playing golf and shopping, all just a short drive away. The large screen TV and surround sound made our watching of the Olympic's opening ceremonies a memorable experience. We all agreed that Mink Hollow Lodge was one of the best places we have gone for our annual reunion in a long time! The next time we are looking to stay in this area, we will definitely book this house again!

Beautifully maintained, amazing back yard

Rented this lovely lodge for a weekend with friends. Home was spotless and ready for our rental. The yard is perfect for a night under the stars with a big bonfire area to enjoy, fire wood included! There were clear instructions for all of the amenities, including a/c which was awesome. The hot tub in the back yard was new and crystal clear. The quirky decorations around added to the fun of the place! You will love it!

Amazing Stay, Gorgeous home

This may have been my best vacation yet! JoAnn and Scott were absolutely amazing, second only to the lovely home they own. We had a large group and everyone was amazed at how beautiful and comfortable all the rooms were. JoAnn was so helpful and told us of places nearby to check out. One of the best trips I've ever had, and I can't wait to visit again. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation, in a beautiful setting. Check out the nearby waterfall, it's amazing :)

nice location, nice inside, beautiful view, fun

We drove up to this house on Friday night. When we walked in the facility, we were amazed. The place was well decorated, and the rooms were nice, clean and spacy. A part of the master bedroom ceiling is made by glass, so that people who stay in the master room can have a nice sky view. The house is close to hiking trails (5 min driving). Also, there is a hiking trail right behind the house backyard, convenient! Neighbour is nice and friendly, and he came to the house help setup the hottub, also offered free firewood just in case we ran out (we had plenty, more than enough firewood btw). Overall, if you want to get away from cities, this is definitely the place you want to go!

Wonderful home!

This home was great find. From the first inquiry through to correspondence after our stay, the owners could not be any more accommodating. It is in immaculate condition and the location to Hunter Mountain was perfect. There are very special things about this house. The basement is a perfect hangout for those who want to stay up later without disturbing anyone who wants to turn in early. All of the bedrooms had comfortable beds and beautiful linens. The open layout of the living space made it easy to have family meals and spend time together. We highly recommend this property.

Charming & welcoming property off the beaten path

JoAnn and Scott were absolutely excellent hosts for my groups first use of HomeAway, and first trip to the Catskill area together. The listing was 100% accurate regarding location, description, layout, and amenities, and exceeded all of our expectations. It is a well maintained and clean property - you can tell the homeowners put a lot of time and effort into it, and they both provided excellent service before, during, and after our stay! We rented the house for a 3 day ski trip to Windham and Hunter Mountains, and the house was in a great location compared to the two resorts - with nearby access to the local town (restaurants, ski rentals, antique shops). The hot tub and bonfire in the back yard were such great additions after a long day on the slopes! I would absolutely recommend this property to my friends and relatives, and am already looking forward to my next stay!

Perfect ski weekend getaway!

I chose Mink Hollow Lodge as home base for my annual ski weekend getaway from NYC with 7 friends. He house has everything we were looking for - quick drive (10min) to the mountain, great got tub, good sized and well stocked kitchen (we did a lot of cooking), and a cozy but very spacious interior for everyone to feel comfortable. He house also has interesting/fun quirks that made it unique, like signs in the driveway and classic memorabilia in the game room. Would definitely recommend for anyone going on a trip like ours - a fun weekend getaway.

Great home away from home!

My group was 10 people and we're all pleased on arrival. The owners were very pleasant to deal with and had music, fireplace, and a bottle of wine ready for us when we opened the door, great way to begin our weekend. Great house, beautiful spot.

JoAnn was extremely responsive and worked very hard to make our stay perfect. The house was in excellent condition, the hot tub a dream after a long hike to Huckleberry Point. The house slept our group of seven quite comfortably. I would recommend this house without reservation.

GREAT HOUSE, GREAT TRIP, GREAT RENTAL EXPERIENCE!!!

This house was amazing, so much fun in a very nice, cozy part of the Catskills. Went up here for a relaxing weekend with a few other couples and this house was perfect! Hot tub, fire pit with great seating around it, BBQ, beautiful scenery. The owners made the entire experience so easy and they were very accommodating with everything we needed. Would highly recommend! A++ all around. Thanks again, and we look forward to coming back.

Complete Contentment

My family wanted to get away for some time together and relaxation. We were 4 adults and 5 children, ages 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15. We couldn't have gotten luckier. We planned last minute and were lucky enough to find Joann and Scott's beautiful place. They were very accommodating and quick organizing our last minute plans. The house was more than we could've hoped for and we wanted for nothing. Joann made sure that all our needs were met and questions answered. The beds and bedding were so comfortable - the only drawback is you might not want to get up! The rustic yet hip style of the house embraces you in warmth and comfort. The basement with the pool table was great for the kids and family pool tournament. The house was spotless upon our arrival. There was not a great need for us to venture very far from the house considering there were hiking trails and a streams with a small waterfall nearby - great way to get the kids off their phones. Upon returning we relaxed in the hot tub and used the beautiful Weber grill to cook dinner. We ended our day by the HUGE fire pit telling ghost stories and making s'mores. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone for any season! Thank you Joann and Scott!

Could not have been better! I almost hate to tell the world because it will limit the open time for my friends and me to revisit! Accurate listing Extremely well maintained and spotless clean. Highly recommended for a quiet weekend in the country or a good time in the village--so much to do here! North Lake--beautiful as always. Hunter village--charming! Hot tub--perfect! Amazing property!

We came up for a long weekend to catch the tail end of the ski season, and had a group of 10 with us. I'm always a bit nervous renting ski houses on line because you never know if what you see is what you get, and with so many friends and family, we wanted everything to go smoothly. Well, I can tell you without a doubt, what we got was even better than what we saw on line. The house is beautiful, full of warmth and charm. Every amenity you could imagine was at our disposal...including a crock pot! The linens were fresh and clean, and the entire house was immaculate. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably, and the game room downstairs, with a bar area and regulation size pool table, was the perfect spot for the teens to hang out after a long day on the slopes, while we watched movies in the living room. And, let's not forget the outdoor hot tub...that too was immaculate, and in perfect condition. We lit a fire in the outdoor fire pit, jumped in the hot tub and relaxed with the snow coming down on us...couldn't have been a more picture perfect place to spend a long ski weekend.

Great Stay!

I will keep this short and sweet because if you are like me you don't want to read a long review but rather have the highlights. The Mink Hollow Lodge is immaculate. They have everything you need. The owners JoAnn and Scott went out of their way to make sure everything is explained and documented in black and white which makes things easier for both the owner and renter. Nothing bad to say about the house. We were a group of 12 and stayed comfortably. Would stay again! Cell service is terrible in the area so make sure to have wifi calling or buy a calling card.
