"Great hotel in a quiet and nice location. The kitchenette had the essentials plates, bowls, utensils, pots and pans. The bathroom was big and water pressure was great. I definitely would stay there again"

"Christine (Kristin) went above and beyond to solve any matter or answer any question. The gals at the hamburger restaurant also went above to make a great sandwich. Everything was great! The pool was fun as well! "

"There is no elevator or staff to help seniors with luggage to the cheap Expedia rooms on the 2nd floor."

"Everything was lovely. My in-laws happened to pass through the same day so we were grateful they were allowed to stay in the dirt parking lot in front. Everyone was so kind. Maritsa (not sure spelled correctly, & Tina were so sweet & helpful. Also the gentleman serving breakfast was amazing! Nothing ran out, everything was very well clean, the biscuit and gravy was delicious. He ran a great breakfast service! So it was only a weekend stay but we will definitely be back! Thank you everyone for your hard work. It was not unnoticed. "

"The hotel was advertised with a pool and hot tub, but it looked to have been shut down and not working for quite some time. Disappointed "

"The rooms were very clean especially for an old refurbished hotel. The breakfast could have been better. It was just cold cereal and fruit. There was no breads for toast, and there was no protein available."

"While this is an older motel on the outside, the staff and cleanliness make the Thunderbird motel a great value. Free breakfast with Hot Coffee is always a plus. Within walking distance of the Star Hotel which has great Basque Food. Looking forward to staying here again the next time passing through Elko."
