Bring your own boat or kayaks to launch from our private boat ramp. Guest love the close drive to Santee, SC to 3 golf courses, Santee State Park, eateries and antiques! Property is perfect for detaching and relaxing at the lake. The view is just as described180 degrees! When we got there I just sat and sat and looked at lake…couldn’t get up to unload the truck!!! Place was clean, not damp and very easy to just settle in. We loved it!

Serenity by the Lake

Took a weekend trip to the lake to finish off the summer with the family. This place was everything we needed. Great view of the lake with a dock for the boat. Got to drink coffee and enjoy the sunrise every morning. Its right down the road from Stumphole Landing if you are looking for a bite to eat. Rooms and amenities were more than suitable for a lake house. Had a nice covered area outside that has a couple of fans to keep some of the heat and bugs away.

Relaxing trip

Great place to stay. Everything was clean. I would add a small window A/C unit in the master bedroom. We got hot at night. Had a great time BBQing and fishing off the dock. We encountered a strong storm one evening and a large tree limb fell and blocked the dock. The host had someone there the next day to clean it up. We look forward to staying again in the future. Private and relaxing

The property was really private. My family and I absolutely loved seeing all the different types of birds that visited the property. My kids loved seeing the geese and ducks walk through the yard a few times a day. We enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit and spent a lot of time in the sunroom appreciating the excellent view. Everything was as advertised and the house was very clean. The host was very kind and responsive to our questions. We had so much fun and hated to leave! We will definitely see about staying here again in the future!

The best sunrises and sunsets…a hidden gem!

This place is fabulous! We enjoyed our Anniversary trip so much! The owner even left flowers and a card for us. Very clean and comfortable. The view is just gorgeous! We caught several catfish right off the dock and the convenience of having Poplar Creek right around the corner made it even more perfect since we keep our boat there. We even had baby geese and ducks in the yard. We enjoyed every moment! We will be back!!!
