“We booked the Pierre & Vacances as a last minute trip, to escape the terrible British weather. Given that it was the school holidays in the UK, the cost was very reasonable and honestly, was worth every cent and more. The apartment was well equipped and modern, with a great view of 2 of the pools. There are 3 pools in total (1 with jacuzzi, 1 with a slide and 1 with a childrens area). All are well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds. The beach, supermarket, beach bar and some restaurants are……

“Appart hôtel vieillissant. Nous sommes habitués des lieux et malheureusement, nous avons constaté une détérioration des conditions de logement. Électroménager fatigué, usé. Maintenance des logements peu effectuée.(on s'est retrouvé coincé dans la salle de bain, fenêtres ne fermant pas ...). Draps pour le canapé sales et incomplets. Les à côté restent onéreux (chiens, parking, balcon) Les points positifs, les personnes à l'accueil sont sympathiques et essayent de trouver des solutions. L'hôtel……

“When we arrived we were greeted in a friendly manner. Everything was as described or as you can see in the pictures. We especially liked the large pool, the outdoor dining area, the simple furnishings and the proximity to the sea. If you had any questions, you immediately got a friendly answer from the owner. We also found out that there are no pool towels and the cleanliness is not really good in some places. The location is very quiet and the beautiful beach is not overcrowded. For shopping……

“This is quite the hidden gem, after traveling for 3 weeks around the Mediterranean and hitting all the hot spots I wish I would’ve had more time to enjoy the tranquility and laid back vibe at Aiguablava.
