“Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! ”

“The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area.”

“My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in July. Lynette let us in early on the first day and we were allowed to stay a bit later. This is really appreciated when there’s no one staying just before or after. Some of the access and departure times are still as bad as during Covid! The bungalow is in a lovely quiet gated development within easy walking distance of everything in Stamford town, including Waitrose. The 2 parking spaces are a great addition. The bungalow is very well equipped. Hot water……

“Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience ”

“Lovely historic cottage in the centre of the village. Quiet location tucked away with its own little garden. Everything provided and more. Thank you for the welcome pack, breakfast was lovely. Comfy bed, comfy sofa bed, comfy cottage.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will certainly be recommending for visitors to the village.”

“Location good as we came to go to a family party in Castor. Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. A code for the key safe was e-mailed and sent via text at 1pm of day of arrival, but we had no notice that this was to be the process and we had to chase……
