“Noisy connecting room. Also noisy workmen.”

“I’m not really sure what to say or where to start. I almost decided to sleep in my car. The people were friendly and sociable (aside from the host taking my phone off airplane mode when I asked for the wifi password; $20, kaching, for roaming!) but the home… hygiene was an issue from the kitchen to bathroom (bring your own toilet paper), the bedsheet was laid down, not big enough to be tucked, mosquitoes in the room all night, even a closed (?) door could not keep out the pot smell from the……

“There were no slippers provided as stated in room description, although we requested for it the next day, the hotel did not even have a pair of slipper available, which was a bit disappointing. A bit of construction work is in progress outside of our terrace room. Overall the hotel is new and beautiful, the staff also welcomed us with a a bottle of wine and dessert for our honeymoon celebration.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel fall short of what you’d expect at this price point. I found the bedsheet dirty with several yellow marks (possibly from an iron), and the duvet had noticeable red stains resembling blood. These made the room feel unhygienic. The basement games area was also poorly maintained. The pool table was missing the black ball, and only one pool cue was usable, the rest were broken. To make matters worse,……

“The location of the hotel was not really that convenient unless you wanted to be in the South Quay area. We arrived after mid night and the area airing the hotel was very quiet and next to a large flyover. The hotel staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. I didn’t particularly like the industrial vibe of the hotel but each to their own!!”

“Comfortable room , excellent value . Thank you .”

“A good hotel located a slient place near the CBD.”

“The location is good. 10 min to city centre. A quiet location with nice restaurants aound. People at reception are nice. Deluxe room not so deluce. Housekeeping not so good. Air conditioner full of dust. Bathing soap not refilled until asked. Room only vacuumed every 2 days on requests. Housekeeping off early and once they forgot to clean the room,we need to throw rubbish ourselves.”
